Position: Chef /Japanese cuisine experience
About: Passionate about modern Japanese-inspired cuisine, Flying Food Group, LLC is seeking a skilled and innovative Japanese Cook to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing food preparation according to policy and ensuring compliance with airline and fresh meal specifications while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and controlling food costs with proper rotation procedures. This role requires a calm demeanor to work in a high-stress environment and the ability to follow direct orders and recipes to meet airline standards.
Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of Japanese cooking experience in a high-volume cooking institution, airline catering, or food catering industry is required; manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; ability to stand for hours, handle heat, and work shifts; fluency in English; 3-5 years of Japanese cooking experience preferred; experience with multi-airline international customers preferred; working knowledge of HACCP, USDA, and FDA compliance; minimum of two (2) years as a Lead Cook in a high-volume cooking institution/airline catering or food catering industry.
