Position: Chef Full Time Day Paramus
About: The Valley Hospital-Paramus is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cook to prepare and cook food for patients, employees, community meals, and catering. This position also involves providing functional supervision to staff in food preparation when necessary.
Requirements: High school diploma; Two to four years in an accredited course in Quantity Food Preparation; ServSafe certification; Three years of institutional or similar quantity cooking experience; Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; Good communication and interaction skills; Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details; Ability to function competently and maintain composure during stressful situations and changing work environment; Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities; Ability to effectively problem-solve
