Position: Chef for Locally Owned Restaurant
About: A locally owned, upscale restaurant is seeking an experienced Chef to join their team. The Chef will be responsible for leading the kitchen, designing menus, creating new dishes, managing stock, and handling kitchen-related situations that require leadership.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in food preparation, with a background as a Line Cook or Sous Chef; preferred experience as a Restaurant Manager or Kitchen Manager; excellent knowledge of culinary ingredients and practices, technical cooking skills, creative skills, proven leadership skills, ability to work in challenging environments while maintaining high standards, food hygiene and food preparation qualifications.
