Position: Chef De Partie
About: Whole Foods Market is seeking a Chef de Partie for their Prepared Foods division. This role is an ATL level leadership position focused on driving culinary excellence and enhancing the hospitality experience on the Retail Floor. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for expediting and executing operational SOPs, maintaining merchandising standards, ensuring in-stock levels, implementing core menus, driving sales initiatives, handling promotions, and managing various food service venues within the store.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 18 months of professional hospitality or kitchen experience combined with culinary training; ability to teach and develop others effectively; organized and systematic approach to work; excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills; passion for food; food safety certification within 6 months if not currently certified; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; strong technology skills; physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical tasks like bending and reaching; willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions; ability to use tools and operational machinery; ability to travel for training purposes or meetings as needed.
