About: Valley Hotel, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel located in the heart of Homewood, Alabama, offers 129 spacious guest rooms and over 5,000 square feet of event space. It provides a unique escape for both visitors and locals, featuring a terrace bar, Ironwood Kitchen & Cocktails, and a cafe. The Valley Hotel is looking for a Chef De Cuisine to join their team in creating innovative plates for their full-service restaurant.
Requirements: Two to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience; minimum of five years culinary experience in a related position, hotel experience preferred; ability to perform critical analysis and manage a wide range of information; advanced knowledge of business and management principles; excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to delegate, manage manpower, and organize complex projects; effective communication skills with guests and associates
