Position: CHEF DE CUISINE – POLARIS

About: Polaris, Atlanta’s legendary rotating Blue Dome restaurant and lounge on the top of Hyatt Regency Atlanta, is seeking a creative and skilled Chef de Cuisine to lead its culinary team. Polaris has been a prominent landmark on the Atlanta skyline since 1967, offering a must-visit restaurant experience since its reopening in 2014. The Chef de Cuisine will play a key role in overseeing dining room operations, managing culinary staff, and creating innovative menu items under the guidance of the Executive Chef in a unique open kitchen setting where guests rotate around.

Requirements: In-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations; Possess strong leadership, communication, organization, and relationship skills; Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service; Proficient in general computer knowledge; A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment; Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner; Strong training and communication skills; Culinary education and/or on-the-job training, independent restaurant experience is preferred; Schedule flexibility preferred
