Position: Chef de Cuisine – Houston Methodist Cypress

About: Aramark Healthcare is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to join their team at Houston Methodist Cypress. The Chef de Cuisine will be responsible for all production aspects of the department, overseeing patient services, and managing dining operations. The role involves leading a team of 30 employees to ensure high standards of quality and service for a positive dining experience for patients and guests. Reporting to the Food Service Director, this position requires a hands-on approach in team development, culinary expertise, safety protocol, and client relations.

Requirements: Requires 2-3 years of experience in a related position; Requires 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience; Culinary degree preferred; Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession; Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems; Requires oral, reading, and written communication skills
