Position: Chef De Cuisine – Bugsy and Meyer’s Steakhouse (Flamingo LV)
About: The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for the supervision of kitchen staff in assigned outlet and creating and fostering a sanitary, productive, and team-oriented work environment. The role involves working with the Restaurant Manager and front of the house staff to ensure a positive guest experience, ensuring quality food products and presentations, developing staff while maintaining food and labor costs within budget guidelines, and creating new and innovative recipes while handling problems effectively and professionally.
Requirements: Candidate must currently be in a Chef de Cuisine or similar role; Must have experience in a high-volume environment or Casino/Resort; In-depth knowledge of food preparation, trends, styling, communication, and administration skills required; Ability to maintain and develop standards set by the company; Effective communication in English, both verbal and written; Minimum of a two-year Culinary Arts School or equivalent technical training; Minimum of three years experience as a Supervisor or Chef in specialty rooms, Steakhouse, Fine Dining or Semi Fine Dining; Neat and professional appearance; Bilingual abilities preferred; Flexibility to work various shifts required.
