Position: Chef de Cuisine – Bahia Restaurant
About: Four Seasons Hotel Miami is looking for a Chef de Cuisine for our rooftop restaurant, Bahia who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Requirements: College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience is required; Experience in Latin Influenced and/or East Mediterranean Cuisines; Three to five years previous supervisory experience in multiple culinary/food & beverage department in a fast-paced luxury environment; Must be able to work all shifts including AM’s, PM’s, weekends, and holidays; Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language; Ability to supervise, demonstrate, and expedite in various kitchen production areas; Requires the ability to operate and utilize culinary production equipment and tools; Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying food items and operating culinary production equipment and tools. May be continuous and repetitive; Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems; Continuous standing to supervise, demonstrate, and expedite in various kitchen production areas; Eight to ten-hour shifts; scheduled days and work hours may vary based on need.
