Position: Chef de Cuisine
About: Philo Ridge Farm is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) working demonstration farm located in Vermont’s Champlain Valley. The farm stewards over 500 acres of pastureland, forests, and diversified produce gardens, practicing innovative and ecologically sustainable methods. Philo Ridge Farm’s mission is to promote organic regenerative agriculture through research, education, and community engagement, offering opportunities for farmers, students, and the public to explore sustainable farming practices.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar leadership role in a culinary environment; strong knowledge of seasonal ingredient sourcing and menu planning; leadership skills with a focus on team development and training; familiarity with kitchen operations management including inventory control, ordering, and financial oversight
