Position: Chef de Cuisine
About: Dallas Giant Restaurant Company is expanding to Houston with a new 600-seat restaurant and is currently seeking a Chef de Cuisine to join their team in Houston, TX. The Chef de Cuisine plays a crucial role in leading a passionate kitchen team and creating innovative dishes that elevate the restaurant’s performance in cowboy cuisine. This position offers a total compensation of $110,000 – $120,000.
Requirements: Culinary degree or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred; 3+ years of experience as a chef de cuisine, head chef, or executive chef in a similar high-volume restaurant; thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; develops menu strategies for growth; easily transitions between big-picture and detailed tasks; drives team growth through accountability; leads by inspiring and developing others; maintains composure under pressure; understands the competitive landscape and strives for leadership; embodies a business-driving and thought-leading mindset; knowledge of Fusion Prep; familiarity with Craftable is a plus
