Position: Chef de Cuisine

About: Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans is seeking candidates for our Chef De Cuisine position at Chemin A La Mer restaurant. Employees in this role lead and manage the culinary department by establishing efficient systems and processes to ensure standards as set forth by Four Seasons and culinary partners are adhered to. They also maintain control systems which will assure quality and portion consistency, monitor food shipments to meet purchasing specifications, and foster an awareness of the importance of food preparation and quality.

Requirements: College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience is required; three to five years previous supervisory experience in multiple culinary/food & beverage department in a fast-paced luxury environment; ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems; ability to operate and utilize culinary production equipment and tools; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
