Requirements: An Associate’s Degree is required; ideal candidate should have four years of related experience in commercial hospitality or a similar field, including at least three years of food service experience in a similar role. Certified Food Manager’s Permit from the City of Houston Health Department, City of Houston Food Handlers Certification, and ServSafe Allergen Training are mandatory within 30 days of hire. Proven abilities in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and culinary skills, multitasking abilities, quick decision-making skills, and leadership qualities are essential. Must be able to document HACCP log sheets, read and understand standard recipes and production sheets.
