Position: Central Kitchen Delicatessen Assistant Section Manager
About: Marukai Corp. is seeking an Assistant Section Manager to be the ambassador of new merchandise in the central kitchen, leading the team to support the store in promoting products positively and increasing sales. The Assistant Section Manager acts as a bridge between department and central kitchen operations, serving as a role model in merchandise knowledge and training for associates.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of team member experience in related positions; at least 1-year direct team management and product management experience; high energy and enthusiastic with knowledge of specialty products; growth mindset and desire to coach and mentor others; excellent interpersonal, motivational, and team-building skills; proficient in regulatory policies, financial assessment, and inventory management; decision-making and leadership abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations-related applications; possess California State Driver’s License, food handling license, forklift operating license, and Certified Food Safety Manager accreditation or ability to achieve within 90 days of employment; fluency in English with Spanish bilingual skill as a plus
