Position: CDL A Delivery Truck Driver – Hiring Immediately
About: US Foods is a leading food distributor offering excellent training programs, opportunities for growth, and a culture of promoting from within. They are currently seeking a Class B Delivery Driver to join their team in Juneau.
Requirements: High school diploma required; Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse; Must be at least 21 years of age; Must have valid CDL Class B issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications; Minimum of six months commercial driving experience OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required; Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; Must be able to read and communicate in English; Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift; Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops required; Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times; Verify accuracy of deliveries with customers; Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable; Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
