Position: Catering Executive Chef
About: A catering company in Providence, RI is seeking an experienced and creative Catering Executive Chef to lead the culinary team and oversee exceptional catered events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, extensive culinary expertise, and strong team management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a culinary leadership role, with at least 3 years in a catering or large-scale event setting; strong culinary background with deep knowledge of various cuisines, food trends, and dietary restrictions; proven leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring a team; exceptional organizational and time-management skills; ability to thrive under pressure and work efficiently in a high-energy, fast-paced environment; strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, staff, and event coordinators; passion for food and attention to detail in presentation and taste; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules; culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
