Position: Beverage Supervisor
About: Rivers Casino Des Plaines is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Beverage Supervisor to lead a team of bartenders, bar porters, and cocktail servers in providing exceptional service to guests. This role involves overseeing beverage operations, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements: Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests, supervisors, and team members; Three to five years’ experience in the hospitality field, preferably in beverage operations and/or gaming, with at least 1 year supervisory experience or equivalent training; Must have successfully completed and maintain certification in “ServSafe”(Food Sanitation Management) and Responsible Alcohol Training within 120 days of employment; Adequate knowledge of beer, wine, and spirit offerings and industry trends is required; Must be able to use a computer and fluent in Microsoft Office applications; Must be able to understand and communicate Material Safety Data Sheets to all team members; Must possess a cooperative, helpful, and friendly nature; Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process and maintain all licensing requirements; Ability to work flexible shifts, hours, and days of the week, including holidays and weekends; Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, reaching, bending, & lifting.
