Position: Beverage Product Applications and Development Technologist

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in food science or related discipline required; 3+ years of experience in beverage applications and/or product development; ingredient functionality and formulating knowledge required; trained in flavor applications and beverage product development with experience in at least 1-2 beverage areas; broad knowledge of ingredients and processing technologies; knowledgeable of HACCP/Food Safety practices; experience in beverage processing and product development cycle desired; experience in CPG company and with alcohol beverages a plus; ability to modify/create beverage bases; proven ability to translate customer and marketing direction into winning beverage concepts; able to create beverage prototypes meeting processing and shelf-life requirements; willingness to learn and operate beverage lab equipment; understanding of market trends and ability to translate into prototypes; strong problem-solving, communication, project management, and organizational skills; self-motivated for continuous learning; willing to interact directly with customers and travel; must be willing and able to taste and smell all types of beverages
