Position: Banquets General Manager
About: The Edgewater is currently seeking a Banquet General Manager to oversee the organization and execution of events, ensuring the complete satisfaction of guests attending. This role involves detailed supervision of event setups, service, and maintenance to create exceptional guest experiences within the hotel.
Requirements: Minimum three (3) years’ experience working as a Banquet Manager/Supervisor in a high-volume banquet or hotel environment; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask; experience in employee development and training; ability to effectively communicate with guests, co-workers, and management; strong customer service skills and conflict resolution ability; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; proficiency in prioritizing tasks efficiently and understanding of food preparation, sanitation, and bar terminology; capability to operate various equipment and lift up to 50lbs; proficiency in using moderately complex computer software
