Position: Banquets General Manager
About: The Edgewater is seeking a Banquet General Manager to oversee all aspects of events and activities, ensuring a seamless experience for guests. This role involves supervising event room set-ups, maintaining banquet functions, and upholding the hotel’s service standards to create an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements: Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Banquet Manager/Supervisor in a high-volume banquet or hotel environment; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong attention to detail and ability to multitask; experience in employee training and development; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; understanding of food and beverage operations and equipment usage; ability to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50lbs; proficiency in using moderately complex computer software
