Requirements: A degree from a post-secondary culinary arts program; three years of experience in food preparation encompassing all phases of kitchen operation; familiarity and experience with all kitchen equipment; awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; knowledge of food handling and preparation principles; ability to effectively supervise kitchen staff in the absence of the Executive Chef; proficiency in performing required roles during emergency situations
