Position: Banquet Sous Chef

About: The Banquet Sous Chef at Sonesta is responsible for supervising the Banquet Kitchen operations, maintaining food cost and inventory, and ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency of food at all banquet functions. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the Front of House (FOH) team to deliver exceptional service in the food and beverage department of the hotel.

Requirements: Track record of delivering exceptional guest experience; Knowledgeable in using complex kitchen equipment; Experienced in planning, designing, and preparing meals; Strong communication skills; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Proven leadership abilities in the kitchen; Culinary degree or equivalent experience; ServSafe certification; Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members; Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
