Position: Banquet Server – Cohen House
About: The banquet server position at Rice University’s Faculty Club involves providing exceptional service during luncheon service and private events. Responsibilities include maintaining dining room appearance, addressing customer concerns, and assisting with event set-up.
Requirements: HS diploma or equivalent; Two years of related experience in food and event services; Certified Food Handler’s Permit; TABC seller-server license; Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple projects; Good communication and customer service skills; Basic wine knowledge; Experience with point of sales system; Preferably experience as a bartender or in banquets
