Position: Banquet Manager – InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown
About: The InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown Hotel, located in the Wilshire Grand building in Downtown LA, is seeking a Banquet Manager to oversee banquet events with a focus on guest service and profitability. This luxury hotel offers warm and sophisticated experiences in the heart of the bustling Downtown area.
Requirements: Some college or advanced food and beverage operations training and two years experience in banquets or food and beverage operations, including one year supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; fluent English speaker; ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, move around function areas, handle objects, bend, stoop, and kneel; strong communication, reading, writing, mathematical, problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training skills; alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit required; willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
