Position: Banquet Chef
About: Paradise Valley Country Club is a private country club located in the heart of Paradise Valley, Arizona, offering golf, tennis, fitness, swimming, casual and fine dining to its membership. The club is currently hiring an experienced Banquet Chef who will be responsible for food preparation for all private functions and supervising the preparation and plating of foods served in all private dining rooms. This position involves directing and supervising kitchen personnel in the discharge of their duties in a high-volume environment.
Requirements: 3-5 years experience as a banquet chef in a club or hotel banquet environment; Culinary degree not required but helpful; Requires own tools and cutlery; Knowledge of all phases of food preparation and presentation; Attention to detail and strong organizational skills; Ability to accurately estimate food required for each function; Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure; Knowledge of health department regulations; Good people and supervisory skills; Must practice safety at all times; Must have a non-expired Arizona Food Handler’s Certification
