About: The Pueblo of Sandia is currently seeking a Baker to join their team. The Baker will be responsible for delivering high-quality products in terms of freshness, taste, and consistency, following standardized procedures and reporting to the First Baker and Pastry Chef. The position emphasizes values such as integrity, collaboration, and performance excellence, contributing to the success of the Pueblo of Sandia.
Requirements: Education and Experience: High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent; One (1) year of experience in high volume hotel/restaurant or food service capacity in the production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods. Preferred: Culinary School degree or equivalent; Bakery/Pastry experience. License/Certifications/Registrations: Successful completion of a New Mexico Food Handlers Course within 30 days of hire date; Pass a stringent background investigation; Pre-employment and random drug screening required.
