Position: Associate Director Department of Neurosciences
About: Banner University Medical Group in Tucson, Arizona is seeking an Associate Director to work closely with Neurologists and Neurosurgeons. This position involves coordinating distribution of effort changes, maintenance of contract renewals, reviewing locum timecards and invoicing, and supervising the office coordinator team to develop efficient work processes. The Associate Director will also collaborate with a Business Analyst on departmental reports and work hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Requirements: Must possess a strong knowledge of business, non-clinical, and clinical support functions through a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Three years of healthcare management experience or seven years of progressive healthcare management experience with extensive knowledge of academic hospital and physician practice operations. Excellent human relations, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required. Experience with computers and software applications is necessary.
