Position: Assistant Transportation Manager
About: An established transportation company is seeking an Assistant Transportation Manager to work closely with the Transportation Manager in leading and developing Class A Delivery Drivers across multiple locations. The role involves enhancing delivery efficiency, ensuring DOT compliance, and providing necessary support to the transportation department.
Requirements: Must possess a valid Class A Driver’s license; Knowledge of DOT requirements and laws; Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills; Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities; Familiarity with routing and delivery processes; Working knowledge of email, internet applications, spreadsheets, and word processing; Extensive knowledge of DOT Compliance and Regulations; Five years or more in foodservice warehouse and transportation management
