Position: Assistant Sous Chef
About: DDC – Glendale, AZ is currently seeking an Assistant Sous Chef to join their Food & Beverage team. This position involves providing supervision and coaching to all Food & Beverage staff, assisting in menu creation, labor and food cost control, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies. The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of Title 4 (Arizona liquor law) and work efficiently in a team-based environment within a casino and restaurant setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED plus 4 years kitchen experience with at least 2 years of lead cook experience; culinary education may be substituted for 1 year of lead cook experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. No felony, theft, or stealing convictions. Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation, obtain and maintain a gaming license, and meet other position-specific requirements.
