Position: Assistant Restaurant Manager job
About: This job posting is for a position in a restaurant managed by an independent franchisee. The franchisee will be responsible for all employment matters, including setting requirements, hiring, and management decisions. The focus is on managing restaurant operations and ensuring the effective execution of the Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise.
Requirements: Education – High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience – Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Shift Leader or 1 year experience as an Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; must be 100% certified in all workstations. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Must be at least 18 years old; must complete Assistant Manager training classes; must be ServSafe certified. Requires effective communication skills, basic math proficiency, analytical skills, organization, and planning abilities. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as needed. Physical Requirements – Ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of the shift; lift and carry 10-65 lbs; operate restaurant equipment and drive a motor vehicle; operate a computer keyboard.
