Position: Assistant Pastry Chef – Seattle Convention Center
About: The Assistant Pastry Chef is responsible for supervising all bakery operations for the Seattle Convention Center, such as food production, food safety, and all other activities which support food quality and Operational Excellence with focus on, but not limited to, the pastry department.
Requirements: Requires at least 2-3 years in a related position; Requires at least 2-3 years of post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree; Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession; Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems; Requires verbal, reading, and written communication skills; Requires the ability to work an event based schedule which may include weekends and holidays
