Position: Assistant Operations Manager – F&B
About: Hyatt Regency Baytown is a catalyst for Baytown’s waterfront district development and is located at the base of the iconic Fred Hartman Bridge along the Houston Ship Channel. The hotel provides a gateway entrance to the city of Baytown, known for its rich Texas history. It features 208 guest rooms, a market, a 3-meal restaurant with an exposition kitchen, and a lobby bar with great views of the Houston ship channel. The hotel offers 18,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including a 12,000 sq. ft. ballroom with 20-ft. high ceilings, a junior ballroom, and a waterfront event space. Leisure amenities include an outdoor pool and fitness center.
Requirements: Minimum of 1 year as F&B management preferred, or completion of Corporate Management Training Program equivalent; Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment is preferred; Experience with Hotel/Restaurant Operating Systems, such as Micros, HotSOS, Opera, etc.; Ideal applicant should have strong organizational and communication skills; Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including opening, closing, nights, weekends, and holidays; Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift moderate weight; Be a team player and a dynamic leader
