Position: Assistant Manager/Shift Leader

About: The assistant manager at a restaurant franchise plays a crucial role in supporting the general manager to ensure smooth operations. This position is seen as a stepping stone to becoming a general manager when the franchise expands to multiple locations. The assistant manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: placing vendor food orders, managing inventory, overseeing shifts, ensuring completion of daily checklists, operating kitchen equipment, food preparation, organizing food items, handling guest complaints, upholding guest hospitality standards, cash handling procedures, bank deposits, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant premises.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a restaurant setting; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively; strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail; physical ability to stand for long hours, lift heavy items, and move around frequently; proficiency in handling cash transactions and basic math skills
