Position: Assistant Manager/Shift Leader
About: This restaurant is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the general manager in ensuring smooth operations. The role is seen as a potential stepping stone to becoming a general manager in case of multiple location openings. The Assistant Manager’s responsibilities are aligned with those of the general manager and include tasks such as placing vendor food orders, managing shifts, overseeing checklists, operating kitchen equipment, handling guest complaints, cash handling, bank deposits, and maintaining cleanliness standards in the restaurant.
Requirements: Ability to remain in an upright stationary position for extended periods; ability to move around frequently and transport items up to fifty pounds; capability to operate kitchen equipment and handle fryer baskets; effective written and verbal communication skills; keen attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions
