Position: Assistant Manager – Scotch 80 Prime
About: Reporting to the Scotch 80 General Manager, the Assistant Manager role at Palms involves providing direction and leadership for the restaurant service team. Responsibilities include overseeing operational and financial goals, staff performance and training, guest satisfaction, and reservations management. The role also entails ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining cleanliness standards, and resolving guest complaints effectively. The position requires collaboration with the culinary team and a good understanding of food and beverage products at Palms.
Requirements: Four (4) years of assistant restaurant management experience required, preferably in fine dining and/or steakhouse environment; good understanding of beer, wine, and spirits; basic knowledge of computer software and office equipment; effective listening and customer service skills; Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred; Alcohol awareness Card and Southern Nevada Health Card required; previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred; willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays; ability to develop department goals and action plans in line with company objectives.
