Position: Assistant Manager/Mashgiach
About: The Assistant Manager/Mashgiach position at Yeshiva University involves supervising the preparation of dining areas, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with Jewish dietary laws. The role includes overseeing vending machines at Manhattan campuses and covering various downtown locations. The schedule for this position is Monday-Wednesday 6:00 am-2:30 pm, Thursday 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, Sunday 9:30 am-7:30 pm.
Requirements: Associate’s Degree in Food Technology or Business plus 3-5 years of food service experience; some catering experience preferred; must maintain a valid driver’s license; ability to read and understand Hebrew; knowledge of Kashruth laws; clear communication skills; effective relationship building; time management; problem-solving skills in food service.
