Position: Assistant Manager, Banquet Beverage
About: Fontainebleau Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Manager of Banquet Beverage to provide exceptional guest service and ensure seamless beverage operations during banquets, collaborating with the banquet team and vendors to deliver a high-quality beverage experience.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Minimum of three (3) years experience in banquet or event beverage operations within a hotel, resort, or event venue; At least one (1) year of previous supervisory experience preferred; Comprehensive understanding of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, mixology, and service techniques; Thorough knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices; Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire the banquet beverage team effectively; Ability to lead and manage a team, providing direction, support, and mentorship; Ability to address challenges and find solutions in a fast-paced environment; Ability to collaborate with other departments and event planners; Maintain a polished appearance and uphold the venue’s standards; Flexibility to adapt to changing event requirements and guest preferences; Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple banquet events simultaneously; Proficiency in tracking and managing beverage inventory; Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends; Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
