Position: Assistant Manager
About: Torchy’s Tacos, a well-established Tex-Mex restaurant chain founded in Austin, Texas in 2006, has grown from a food trailer to operating numerous locations across multiple states. With a mission to be ‘Damn Good’ and a vision to serve the best damn tacos, Torchy’s prides itself on passion and attention to detail.
Requirements: 2+ years of restaurant management experience preferred; state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications required; ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week and flexible hours; competency of basic computer functions; understanding of training and development concepts; ability to foster teamwork; bilingual a plus; ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds; ability to stand and walk for extended periods; ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
