Position: Assistant HR Director, Staff Operations

This role is for an Assistant HR Director at the University of Michigan, focusing on leading HR staff operations at Ross. The position offers a hybrid work model with on-site expectations in Ann Arbor, MI.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; 8+ years of HR experience, including staff HR management and HR business partner operations; Experience managing HR in a unionized environment, including knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, grievance handling, and labor relations best practices; Experience working with senior leadership and providing strategic HR consultation in a complex, matrixed environment; Proven ability to lead HR process improvements and implement HR programs; Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
