Position: Assistant General Manager – INTRUST Bank Arena
About: Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager at Capitol Federal Amphitheater coordinates the day-to-day activities of the Events Department and oversees various venue department heads. This role aims to optimize efficiency, increase profits, and deliver exceptional customer service by performing assigned duties individually or through subordinate supervisors.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; minimum five to seven years of industry experience, with three years as a director in an arena, convention center, or stadium; skills and experience in contract negotiation, business law, labor relations, union contracts, and supervising personnel; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to anticipate problems and implement corrective actions; considerable knowledge of safety regulations and laws; strong orientation towards hospitality and customer service; effective supervisory and organizational skills
