Position: Assistant General Manager

About: The role of Assistant General Manager (AGM) requires strong, positive, vocal leaders centered on mirroring the vision and direction of the company and of the General Manager. Assistant GMs must be hands-on leaders, providing positive communication and direction throughout the shift. AGMs must understand our Standards and hold smile makers accountable to those Standards at all times. AGMs must have flexible schedules that match the GM Scheduling Guidelines. AGMs will be scheduled Forty Hour work weeks. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Shift Operations AGMs will lead their shifts, focusing on the guest experience; controlling labor, minimizing food waste, recipe accuracy, speed and steps of service, cleanliness, and productivity. Schedule Writing AGMs will become proficient in forecasting and scheduling to meet labor expectations while ensuring great guest experiences at all times. Training AGMs will help coordinate training with Certified Trainers and assist the GM in following up with final validations. Interviewing and Hiring AGMs will assist GMs with first interviews utilizing interview questionnaires and provide feedback concerning candidates. Cash Handling and Deposits AGMs will be responsible for all deposits, drawer counts, and petty cash purchases during their shifts. Inventory and Ordering GMs will work with AGMs to become proficient at understanding pars and accurate ordering. GMs will work with AGMs to master accurate inventory. Margins AGMs will have good knowledge of Food, Labor, and Supply costs and work to keep margins at the budget. Unit Operations The GMs will continue to work with and develop AGMs’ knowledge level of unit operations including; R&M, Budgeting, Goal Setting, Personnel development and P&L knowledge

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must have a manager’s Food Safety Certificate. Bilingual a plus. Working knowledge of computers. Must agree to a background and credit check. Must be able to lift up to 15-20 lbs
