Position: Assistant General Manager

About: Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is looking to hire friendly faces who show hospitality and great customer service. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the overall efficiency and technical operations of the restaurant, ensuring Freddy’s standard of quality, timeliness, and service. The Manager is responsible for training, refining staff, and team building through employee motivation.

Requirements: Leadership & Communication: Ensures that all Company Standard Operation Procedures are followed; Teaches & practices Freddy’s standards of quality, timeliness and service; Maintains an environment of open communication, positive attitudes, and trust-based relationships with all personnel; Ensures that Customer Satisfaction is the highest priority for all employees; Consistently lives “hospitality” in every instance; Leads by example – maintains a professional image, appearance, and language. Financial Performance: Conducts daily labor analysis to achieve target labor percentage; Ensures quality control standards and procedures are strictly enforced; Ensures all standardized portion control guidelines are followed and maintained; Monitors sales trends, develops forecasts, and makes effective decisions to control the key cost of sales and labor; Maximizes productivity without compromising quality standards. Health & Safety: Ensures full restaurant compliance with all health department regulations; Immediately addresses critical violations on self-inspections, health department inspection reports and provides corrective action to prevent repeat violations; Ensures that inspections are conducted and correct on-going issues. Other Responsibilities: Must enthusiastically meet guests’ needs, special requests, and resolve guest complaints/concerns with the commitment to satisfy them; Reviews and approves all schedules and forecasts; Coordinates opening/closing activities in a timely and safe manner; Completes all operational checklists daily; Ensures that all cash-handling procedures are followed; Ensures all paperwork and administrative forms are completed correctly and turned in in a timely manner; Resolves conflicts and improves team members performance issues in a constructive manner and according to policies; Must have experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Internet. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours/day; Ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, and stoop; Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant; Ability to move or handle items weighing up to 50lbs; Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations.
