About: Berkeley Dining at the University of California, Berkeley, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join their team. Berkeley Dining is a self-operated dining program focused on culinary excellence, social responsibility, and supporting the living/learning environment of customers with over 5 million meals served annually in various dining facilities on campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent certification/experience; strong knowledge of food service and sanitation regulations; strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including active listening and critical thinking; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; lead/supervisory experience in the foodservice industry; experience with cash handling in a retail or restaurant environment; familiarity with customer service requests; intermediate computer skills
