Position: Assistant General Manager
About: New York Sports Club, a dynamic fitness club brand with locations in the Northeast, is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to ensure the efficient operation of the club and drive revenue growth. The AGM will work closely with the General Manager to manage club operations and staff development, focusing on performance management and sales analysis. The role includes responsibilities related to club operations, leadership, customer service, communication, product knowledge, problem-solving, and required skills and abilities.
Requirements: 2-3 years of management experience in fitness, hospitality, or retail; Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, finance, or related field preferred; Comfortable leading outreach and referral activities; Excellent business acumen, negotiation skills, and managerial abilities; Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and analyze data effectively; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; AED/CPR certified; Proficiency in CRM, LMS, UKG Ready, and Microsoft Office is a plus
