Position: Assistant Director, Food & Beverage
About: At Great Wolf, the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage position involves managing and overseeing all aspects of the organization’s food and beverage planning, presentation, and service under the guidance of the Director of Food & Beverage. The role focuses on special event planning, managing departmental costs, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and leading department operations in the absence of the Director.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent experience; minimum of 2-3 years management experience in food & beverage; experienced with procurement and inventory control systems, processes, and procedures; flexibility with scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays; excellent writing and verbal communication skills; proficient in P&L management and controls; strong analytical skills; demonstrated experience in leading teams to achieve goals; strong attention to detail and time management skills; familiarity with hospitality software and tools; successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen; highly proficient in food safety and sanitation practices; experience with guest satisfaction and employee engagement programs and tools.
