Position: Assistant Director
About: Bethesda Health is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON-RN) to oversee multiple nursing neighborhoods, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols. This role involves administrative oversight, employee management, and enhancing resident care through proactive problem-solving and strategic initiatives, contributing to a safe and effective healthcare environment.
Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent preferred; Current RN license in the state of work; Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control through accredited continuing education; Three to four years of recent nursing experience with demonstrated administrative and supervisory competency; One year of management experience preferred; Communication, organization, and planning skills required; Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, transfer and move residents, push and pull equipment, demonstrate manual dexterity, perform necessary documentation, have visual acuity, and manage a diversity of activities
