Position: Assistant Director

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent preferred; Current RN license in the state of work; Completed specialized training in infection prevention and control through accredited continuing education; Three to four years of recent nursing experience demonstrating administrative and supervisory competency; One year of management experience preferred; Communication, organization, and planning skills required; Ability to stand and walk for long periods; Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques and with assistance; Ability to transfer and move residents weighing over 200 lbs using proper lifting techniques and assistance; Ability to push and pull equipment over 40 lbs using proper techniques and with assistance; Manual dexterity, coordination, and skillful use of hands; Ability to perform necessary documentation; Visual acuity; Must be able to manage a diversity of activities
