Position: Assistant Chef
About: The Assistant Chef position is responsible for overseeing food preparation, sanitation, and monitoring of cooked foods for all meal periods in a busy restaurant setting, including room service and lounge. This role collaborates with the culinary and management teams, directs kitchen workflow, trains staff, creates daily specials, and maintains cleanliness. The Assistant Chef must be adept at operating kitchen equipment, interpreting recipes, and ensuring food quality. The position requires working flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; 2 years of relevant experience required; 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
