Position: Area Manager – Lafayette
About: Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor under Performance Food Group, maintains close relationships with various local customers including independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. The team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and experts provides advice on operational improvement, menu development, product selection, and strategies to help independent restaurant owners achieve their goals.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 2 years of industry-related experience or equivalent culinary school degree; outside sales experience in a fast-paced environment; excellent verbal and written presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, strong desire to build new business, strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent customer service skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation; ability to lift 25-30 pounds occasionally; must pass a post-offer background and drug test
