Position: Area Manager – Baton Rouge
About: Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor under Performance Food Group, maintains strong relationships with various local customers including independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. Their team of sales representatives, chefs, consultants, and experts offer guidance on enhancing operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies to help independent restaurant owners achieve their goals.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 2 years of industry-related experience or equivalent culinary school degree; outside sales experience in a fast-paced setting; excellent verbal and written presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, strong desire to build new business, strong work ethic, attention to details, excellent customer service skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; valid driver’s license and clean driving record for extensive local travel; ability to lift 25-30 pounds occasionally; pass post-offer background and drug test
